Permit Application
A Permit is required when removing any Underground Storage Tank UST in New Jersey. Inspection will be done by a local Building, Fire, or Construction Inspector in the town where the residence is located. The inspection is important because proper documentation and procedures are critical to being able to sell the house without concerns of any existing underground storage tanks. GWS procures proper permits to ensure that the tank removal is documented by the town and further investigations of the residence will be ensured that the oil tank was removed properly.
Expedited Tank Removal
GWS Environmental Contractors Inc. has performed hundreds of oil tank removals in the most challenging conditions. Tank Closure
GWS Environmental Contractors Inc. is a New Jersey DEP Certified Contractor. Closure License #US330445. Contractor certification is required to be able to obtain a New Jersey Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Grant (NJPUST GRANT)
and is a good indicator that the contractor performing the oil tank removal has the experience needed and individuals who are qualified to properly remove the tank.
New Jersey Grant Applications
NJ Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Fund Applications. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority was providing funds for oil tank removals in the state of New Jersey, until May 2nd 2011. The fund is still accepting applications, but no funds will be released until at least 2013. GWS Environmental Contractors recommends that your client apply for the funds if you have an Underground Storage Tank (UST) even though funds are not available until at least 2014.
